Ventura Farms is proud of it's multi-faceted and talented staff. It is a collection of people who work hard, love what they are doing as well as the farm and our beautiful Arabian horses. Some staff members have been here since the beginning of Ventura Farms in the mid 70's. They have worked their way up from cleaning ditches to senior management. The farm is an opportunity for anyone to become what or whomever they want.

Armando Bueno, Herd Manager -
Armando Bueno has been with Ventura Farms for 20 years. In that 20 years, Armando has foaled out hundreds of mares and has taught the resulting foals everything they need to know to be a big horse. Armando’s specialty is working with difficult horses. He says he learns the most from working with the babies. Meticulous and careful, the horses that are taught by Armando learn the confidence, manners and grace that make them a joy to be around.
Armando handles all of the stallions in the breeding shed. He has taught Poison VF several tricks, such as playing fetch, laying down, standing on a pedestal and rearing on command.
Armando also stays busy at home with 4 children and one grandchild.
