10/20/2010 - Psymadre Named Leading Halter Sire The Arabian Horse World just came out with its list of Top Sires of 2010. Named SEVENTH Leading Sire of 2010 Regional Halter Winners is PSYMADRE! Not only is PSYMADRE ranked 7th, but he does so with only eight horses competing, as opposed to five of the stallions ranking above him who had two to four times as many get competing! PSYMADRE also ranked 10th Leading Sire of Winners in Both Halter and Performance. Ventura Farms has been out of the show ring since 2008, so we are grateful to the owners of the get of VF stallions who continue to represent us so successfully in Class A, Regional, and National competition! We share this honor with you!
6/04/2010 - VF-Bred Horses Win at Region One! We are so pleased to have such excellent individuals representing VF and our stallions at Region One! VF packed the one-two punch in the Region One Gelding Championship: PSYDRON EL JAMAAL Z (x Psymadre) Region One Champion Gelding MIDAS VF (x TF Psymreekhe) Region One Re.Champion Gelding VF-bred geldings won both the ATH and AOTH Championships: MIDAS VF (x TF Psymreekhe) Region One Champion Gelding ATH PSYDRON EL JAMAAL Z (x Psymadre) Region One Champion Gelding AOTH CANDELARIA VF (out of Alada Fortune) delivered in the mare division winning: Region One Re.Champion Mare! HOLLYWOOD VF (x Psymadre) with owner/rider Jennifer Diamond, earned Region One Top Five awards in both Hunter Pleasure AATR and AAOTR. And EN AVANT AFIRE VF (out of Duet VF) was named Region One Top Five Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse! Congrats to all!
9/09/2009 - FMF Samira Nancy Swanson sent us an update about her Psymadre daughter, FMF Samira. She earlier let us know that her mare showed on Sept. 4th at the Fall Arabian Classic held in Lexington VA, winning her sport horse mares in hand class and Champion Sport Horse Mare in her very first show! She also finished 2nd in sport horse under saddle junior horse class. Most recently, "She won her Sport Horse in hand class and was the champion Sport Horse Mare at the Arabian Spring Classic in Lexington, VA. She also showed in dressage for the very first time, winning the Training Level test 2." Congrats, again, to Nancy, Samira, and trainer, Larry Jones!
3/05/2010 - First Scottsdale Performance Champion for TF Psymreekhe TF Psymreekhe has enjoyed many wins by his offspring in the Scottsdale Halter winners circle. This year he celebrates his first Scottsdale Performance Champion! Intuition A, shown by owner Staci Callison, was named Champion Western Pleasure AAOTR Limit Rider as well as Scottsdale Top Ten Western Pleasure AAOTR. Congratulations to Staci and "Wini" on a great win!

6/03/2010 - Midas VF and Ashley WIN! First show - first blue! Congratulations to Ashley Lane and Midas VF on their win at the 2010 Region One Pre-Show in Del Mar! Ashley just purchased Midas VF in May from Ventura Farms. Midas VF was also Reserve Champion Gelding, shown by Terry Holmes! Midas VF and Ashley went on to be named Region One Champion Gelding ATH! As well, Midas VF was shown by Terry Holmes to Region One Reserve Champion Gelding, second only to VF-bred, Psydron El Jamaal Z, by Psymadre!

6/11/2009 - Psymadre Daughter Tops Dressage Ranks Caroline Maupin sent a couple of great photos, taken by Romney Maupin, of Ashai Princess V, owned by Mary Page. Caroline writes, "...Currently "Princess" is the top-ranked purebred Arabian dressage horse in the nation (AHA or USEF points)." Mary sent us an update. "Ashai Princess V+/ is also 2009 USEF HOTY National Champion Arabian Dressage TL, 2009 USEF HOTY Region 3 Champion Arabian Dressage TL and Reserve Champion Arabian Hunter Pleasure Open, and 2009 USEF HOTY Region 2 Reserve Champion Arabian Dressage TL. AND... Princess is also the 2009 Adequan/USDF All-Breed Awards AHA Open Dressage Training Level-Arabian Champion." Congrats to Mary, Princess, and trainer Patience Prine-Carr!
